Happy Thanksgiving! What a great year 2013 has been for Little Fins Swim School and I want to thank you all for trusting me, believing in your children, and believing in yourselves. This type of training isn't always for the faint of heart but you all knew the benefits of your child participating in this program and for that I cannot be more grateful. As of yesterday, November 14, lessons for 2013 are finished, the air is getting much cooler, the pools aren't able to stay as warm (or as comfortable as they should be), the days are shorter and the holidays are coming, so it only seemed appropriate to make this week the last week. In the past I have been able to start lessons in late February at the earliest so be on the lookout for more information as the months get closer. As of now the locations in Celebration and Hunter's Creek will be the same but if anyone knows of a heated pool they might be able to rent to Little Fins in the Hunter's Creek area I would happily follow up with that lead (the home I currently use is being put up for sale and you never know how long that process could take). I carry my own liability insurance so that is not usually an issue.
Many of you have asked, "How can our child keep swimming?" If you do not have a warm pool to swim in I suggest getting a day pass to either Celebration Health or the YMCA Aquatic Center just to keep your child in the water a little. Once lessons resume next year all students who have not had lessons in at least 6 months will be asked to take the Refresher course and if your child has stayed consistent with Maintenance lessons then they can start right where they left off, all brand new students will get priority time slots at this point though.
A few small changes, hopefully for the better, will be coming your way before lessons in February so be on the lookout for those (i.e. Online scheduling? Pre paid lessons? More interactive website?)! In the meantime please LIKE Little Fins on Facebook to keep up with any little bits of information that may come your way. Many of you have asked about how you can give your feedback for others to see and that is something I will be working on but in the meantime Facebook gives you the option to "recommend" a service/business directly on the page. You are also welcome to email me your statement and I will add it to the testimonials section of the website. One more thing if you have ANY pictures or videos you would like to share, they would all be appreciated you can send them via email or post on the Facebook page.
Finally, this is a time of year everyone reflects and expresses what they are thankful for so besides all of you and your families this is a picture of what t I am extremely grateful for, he puts up with the crazy hours, phone calls, texts, and constant stream of emails, but we wouldn't change it for anything!
What are you grateful for?
Love you all!
