Online Scheduling & Availability
And one other tidbit
Well, well, well where do I start I feel like so much has been going on that I don't know what to begin with. How about I start with scheduling, I have been sending the weekly schedule out to everyone involved on Sundays (some weeks earlier than others) but before I send it many texts and emails have been going back and forth in order to ensure spots. So to help alleviate some of that (stress) from me and you and helping that you get the spots you want and can see the schedule without having to decipher what I send I have figured out online scheduling!! Many of you have started using it and I appreciate that sooooo much, its a learning process as we all figure out how to use it. One issue I haven't quite figured out is how to delete any mis-scheduling you may tell me about on my end. So if you need to change the time you originally scheduled for you will need to go in and make that change.
**Parents be sure to check for any changes as the time slot you may need or want could open up! Be careful when signing up to only reserve one time slot per child per day. As I said we are all learning this system together! I did find you can select all of the time slots in the given time period before clicking Submit & Sign Up, this helps keep down on the emails both your and I receive. As I discover more hints I will be sure to pass them on.
Currently the only schedules available are for Maintenance and Refresher lessons from now until September 5 (there will NOT be lessons on Monday, Sept 1 Labor Day) and Basic Training/New Students wanting to start Monday September 8. The Maintenance & Refresher schedule for September 8- October 8 should be available by the end of this week.
Next up is my availability, which you will be able to see along with the locations I will be at when you go to online scheduling. If I start noticing less of a demand for certain times of day I will have to stop making them available. This goes for locations too, i.e. Hunter's Creek & Apopka. If there doesn't seem to be much interest for evenings in Hunter's Creek this next 4 weeks then I may not be coming that way at all again until mid-October. I understand there is a lot going on for everyone this time of year, school, other activities, etc and I try to be as available as possible while using my time wisely at each location. Over the next couple of months I will be revisiting location/time availability as personal demands will be increasing come early December.
Hopefully the air temperature will start to become something manageable, I think we are done with daily afternoon storms for a little while, but know that we swim so long as the air temperature is above 70. The pools are heated (Hunter's Creek via solar panels so we should always hope for sunny days!) so that will not keep us out.
The last tidbit I have is that if you haven't heard, Baby Harmon is due in early December. So far my pregnancy has not had any affect on lessons or scheduling so schedule now before baby Harmon (we are not finding out the gender:) arrives and location/time availability looks a bit different. On that note I am looking at possibly adding someone to the Little Fins team. If you feel teaching little ones the amazing life saving skill might be something you would enjoy doing please contact me. It would be huge for Little Fins!
Happy football and end of swimming season all, please don't hesitate to ask any questions and I'll see you in the water! Go Irish!
